Best Cherry Lemonade! Combining club soda, cherry syrup and ice creates incredible fizz. Seriously, don't take your eye off this sparkling cherry lemonade! | natashaskitchen.com

The combination of club soda, cherry syrup and ice creates some incredible fizz in this sparkling cherry lemonade. Seriously, don’t take your eye off it when you’re adding the club sodie pop. Consider yourself warned.

This sparkling cherry lemonade is so delightful and thirst quenching. It’s perfect on a hot day and makes an impressive party drink. You can make the syrup ahead of time and keep it in the fridge up to a week!

This is how we used up the rest of the cherries sent to us from NW Cherry Growers and OXO as part of the 10lb cherry challenge. We went wild and made 2 recipes; the first was this Drunken Cherry Cake. Of course there are ~7 lbs that went unaccounted for. We ate them. They were so tasty and I’m not sorry.

Thank you so much to all who entered the giveaway and for sharing it with your friends and families! (Giveaway is now closed)

Simple Ingredients for Easy Cherry Lemonade:

Everything you need to make a refreshing and thirst-quenching summer party cherry lemonade!

Sparkling Cherry Lemonade-1

How to Make the Best Cherry Lemonade Syrup:

1. Weight out 1 lb of cherries. P.S. This is the OXO Food Scale. If you don’t already have one, I highly recommend it. If you do already have one, give it to your sister and get this one.

OXO Cherry Recipe-1-2

Rinse, drain and pit your cherries. These OXO strainers and bowls were handy; great for rinsing and storing cherries. I really really liked this set of bowls/colanders and they nest and store away really well.

How to Pit cherries

The OXO cherry pitter makes it easy and little hands love to use it too. (P.S. We’re giving a couple of these OXO pitters away; see details below!). These two kiddos sure got a kick out of the OXO pitters.

If your children are using these, make sure they are wearing an apron or their ugly clothes. Despite the brilliant splash guard on the pitters, my son ended up with cherry juice everywhere. He’s 4. He’s a boy. Need I say more

OXO Cherry Recipe-3

2. In a blender, combine 3 cups pitted cherries, 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (you might extract more if you really get angry with your lemons) and 1 cup sugar. If you’re cutting down on sugar in your life, feel free to use 3/4 cup sugar. Blend until smooth. You don’t want pieces of cherry to get stuck in your straw

Four photos of the process to make sparkling cherry lemonade

Creating Sparkling Cherry Lemonade:

1. Fill a glass half way with ice. Pour 2-3 Tbsp of your cherry syrup over your ice and add club soda to taste. I used roughly 1/4 cup syrup to 3/4 cup club soda. You can do it to taste.

Top with a fresh cherry (or 5) and serve. You’re gonna love the fizzle. My sisters both said this was restaurant quality except WAY cheaper!

This is our go to summer drink (we use water instead of seltzer). This weekend we’re making it into a cocktail by adding a splash of vodka. I can’t wait.

    Hello Natasha,
This is my first time I have made fruit syrup. It tasted divine and got me though teacher correction. Hoe long does it last in the fridge and can you freeze it?

Hi Anne, after adding the carbonated portion, it’s best to serve it right away or within a couple of hours since it will be less fizzy but the syrup will keep covered in the fridge for about 5 days.

We did this using plain water instead of the club soda (we’re not fans of club soda). It was a HIT. Everybody loved it. Will definitely be a summer staple for us.

Have you ever added any alcohol and if so…what would be best?
Might be lovely with a Prosecco or a champagne?? mmmmmmm

Hi Jackie – it would be easier to blend if they are thawed. I think a high powered blender would do the job even if they go in frozen.

Cherries r one of my favorite fruits, so i would eat alot of the cherries raw, with the help of my family of course (there is five of us) so at least half would be gone just like that. I would
definitely freeze some for later, we like compot . I would probably try the cake recipe too 🙂
