Don’t know what went wrong, maybe my turkey stock or not enough salt, but I was disappointed in my creation. Not sure I will try again.

HI DB, it could be the way your turkey was prepared – if it’s smoked it could have added flavors and color – or if you boil too vigorously in a pot, it can get a little cloudy and grey looking. Best to boil at a simmer. Also, make sure to use roasted bones (or bones from a roasted turkey) which will improve the color. P.S. you can broil the bones for a few minutes if color is really important to you. I hope that helps!
